Convert Questions EXTRA DATA - How come there is extra information at the top of my exported file. LOCATING THE APPLICATION: I can't find Convert under any of the DesignSoft Creative Billing Menus. EXTRA DATA - How come there is extra information at the top of my exported file. DesignSoft Convert takes the file you select and translates it exactly into a comma or tab spaced text file. You will get all the same information that you would see if you were to display a job. If you want to export just a list of fees or expenses then create a custom report format from the DesignSoft Estimate/Report Button and set the format up to show just the data you are interested in exporting. After you run the report on the file you are interested in choose "Export As Text..." under the Invoice/Report menu. TOP LOCATING THE APPLICATION: I can't find Convert under any of the DesignSoft Creative Billing Menus. DesignSoft Creative Billing, Accounting, and DSQ-DataLink are the only modules that are integrated into the same application. All the remaining modules are stand alone. If you company purchased this optional module you will find it inside your DesignSoft Folder. The DesignSoft Folder is usually located in your root hard drive area or inside your Applications Folder.
